Our Sponsor a Horse program was introduced in 2022 . This is for students who are committed to this club and are advanced enough to tack up their horse without help and have started to canter.
Two sponsor students are allowed per horse. The students at the sponsorship level are expected to assist with the bulk of the horse’s exercise program and make sure they are legged up and ready for shows. You are essentially assigned an on going project with the horse for a few months or the year much like 4-H.
Other project horses may be assigned or added on depending on the time commitment the student has decided on.
Students at this level may also be expected to hold the horse for the farrier, assist with work days, be present for dental days and help with beginner lesson students.
